Why I Started NurtureBuilt Growth

A blog built on healing, hustle, and heart.

👋 Hey, I’m Kerenh Wong — full-time Quantity Surveyor, proud independent mama of two, and now, founder of this little corner of the internet called NurtureBuilt Growth.

If you’re reading this, welcome. You didn’t land here by accident.

Maybe you’re juggling too much (same), maybe you’re craving a change (been there), or maybe you’re wondering if it’s too late to start over (it’s not). Wherever you are, I want this space to feel like a warm cup of tea on a messy day — calm, real, and filled with quiet power.

So, Why Did I Start This Blog?

Short version?
Because I got tired of surviving.

Long version?
Because for years, I was doing all the right things — the career, the kids, the invisible cape every mom wears without a break. But somewhere between site meetings and sleepless nights, I started to lose myself. The exhaustion wasn’t just physical. It was soul-deep.

I’ve spent nearly two decades in the construction world. I know how to manage budgets, resolve disputes, and finish projects under pressure. But no one ever taught me how to rebuild myself when life fell apart — quietly, slowly, while still smiling for everyone else.

NurtureBuilt Growth was born out of that silence.
It’s where I finally chose to turn my breakdown into a blueprint.

What You’ll Find Here

This blog is a mix of heart and hustle.
I write about:

  • Healing and emotions — because adulting is hard, and motherhood doesn’t come with a manual.
  • Parenting with intention — raising kind, emotionally aware kids while trying not to lose our own minds.
  • Writing and creativity — from children’s books to digital products.
  • Making money online — through blogging, affiliate marketing, and gentle, genuine network marketing.
  • Balancing it all — without burning out or giving in.

No spammy sales pitches. No cold DMs. Just systems, stories, and strategy that feel good — and work.

Who This Blog Is For

This is for the quiet rebels.
The women who want more — not just more money, but more peace, more purpose, more presence.
The moms rebuilding their lives brick by brick.
The dreamers who are ready to stop scrolling and start doing.

If that’s you?
You’re home.

My Hope For You

I hope NurtureBuilt Growth becomes more than a blog you read. I hope it becomes a place where you remember your power, reclaim your voice, and start building again — this time, with gentleness and strategy on your side.

Thanks for being here.
Now let’s grow — one bold, imperfect step at a time.
